“BerlinMOSAIK”

The “BerlinMOSAIK” is a virtual art campaign that invites everyone using the hashtag #IEF_2010 to participate. People who upload images via the upload tool, or another method, using the previously mentioned hashtag (title) grant us permission to publish the picture in the mosaic, and to use it for marketing or PR purposes in conjunction with the mosaic by providing us with the title of the work.

Because a comprehensive screening or control of the submissions can not take place, we emphasize that the images represent the personal impressions of the participating users. They do not represent the personal views or opinions of the operator. We are explicitly not responsible or liable for any content provided by third parties.

We will attempt to filter and remove all images that are discriminatory, xenophobic, offensive, sexist, or have illegal content and ban them from the site. A right to participate in the mosaic does not exist because of the aforementioned reasons.

Without prior experience

• Create the picture: This is most easily done using a digital camera, mobile phone, or similar device. If you are using a conventional camera or an existing photo, the picture must first be digitalized and then transferred to a computer. Support can be received in every photo shop.
• Upload: The easiest way is to upload the photo directly through your own page.
• Select your picture (right-click with the mouse on the file and name the image.)
• Then type in the following address in the internet browser: http://www.citymosaic.de/mosaic/IEF/, select “Upload” (click on the camera) and follow the instructions. The image is uploaded within a few moments.

With experience in various uploading possibilities

• Picasa and Flickr don’t need to be accessed in a particular way. Just entitle the image "#IEF_2010" and simply upload it. All of the images with this title will be automatically added.
• Twitpic: Upload the image to Twitpic and mention our hashtag (#IEF_2010) somewhere in the Twitter message. Like this, for example: "Hello World, this is a picture from the IEF Conference #IEF_2010.”
